Misa Hylton, a fashion stylist and mother to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ son, Justin, has expressed dismay over a federal raid at the rapper’s home.

Homeland Security recently stormed Diddy’s houses in Los Angeles and Miami as part of an ongoing investigation. The rapper is facing multiple civil lawsuits accusing him of sex trafficking, sexual abuse, and rape, all of which he has denied.

The operation, captured on the household’s security cameras, has been criticized for what Hylton describes as an unnecessary display of force.

The footage, now public, shows a team from Homeland Security navigating the premises with an array of weaponry.

During the raid, Diddy’s sons, Justin Combs and Christian, were among those detained and faced the end of firearms. The video showed the brothers being subjected to harsh treatment as they were handcuffed and had guns aimed at them.

Hylton shared footage on Instagram, highlighting the disparity in treatment that would have been different had her sons not been Black. The intensity of the raid, she argues, was excessive and served only to instill fear in her sons.

Hylton said she and her son are not standing by idly after the raid, She signaled their intent to pursue legal avenues. Justin’s lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, is already probing into the justification for the level of force applied during the search. Hylton’s resolve is clear as she refuses to accept what she views as an attempt to undermine her family.

Meanwhile, in the wake of his ongoing legal troubles, the Bad Boy Records boss is feeling the repercussions.

The latest organization to distance itself from the rapper is the Met Gala, one of the fashion industry’s most prestigious events.

Diddy has not been invited to this year’s Met Gala, scheduled for May 6 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
