Future and Metro Boomin, the dynamic duo known for their electrifying collaborations, have released their latest album, We Don’t Trust You.
The album, which hit the airwaves on Friday, March 22, 2024, signifies the full-length union of these frequent collaborators.
The album’s title echoes Metro’s legendary tag voiced by Future: “If Young Metro don’t trust you, I’m gon’ shoot you”. This phrase has become a cultural phenomenon, resonating with fans worldwide.
We Don’t Trust You is a rich mix of tracks, each offering a unique sound. Standout tracks include the album title, Young Metro, and Ice Attack. The album also features an array of stars including Playboi Carti & Travis Scott on Type Shit, Kendrick Lamar on Like That, and Rick Ross on Everyday Hustle.
Other notable tracks include Claustrophobic, Slimed In, Magic Don Juan (Princess Diana), Cinderella (featuring Travis Scott), Runnin Outta Time, Fried (She A Vibe), Ain’t No Love, GTA, Seen it All, WTFYM, and Where My Twin @.
In an exciting twist, Future and Metro Boomin have also announced a follow-up album, “We Still Don’t Trust You”, to be released on April 12, 2024.
This marks the seventh direct collaboration between the two artists, both of whom are credited as artists. Future and Metro Boomin first met when Metro was 17 years old, and their collaborative work dates back to 2013.
They have since worked on numerous projects together, with their collaborations becoming a significant part of the music landscape.
Their first joint track where both were credited as artists was “Chanel Vintage”, released in October 2013 Future and Metro Boomin have a long history of successful collaborations, such as Mask Off, Low Life and Jumpman.

Meanwhile, Metro Boomin achieved a remarkable feat, surpassing 50 Cent on Spotify’s list of most streamed rap albums.
The prolific producer’s 2022 album Heroes & Villains, featuring Drake, Future, Young Thug, Travis Scott, and more, amassed over 4.3 billion. It edged out 50 Cent’s landmark debut Get Rich or Die Tryin’.
Heroes & Villains accumulated 4,379,300,317 streams, while Get Rich or Die Tryin’ has 4,367,041,925. This put Metro at number 34 on the list, while 50 Cent dropped to number 35.
