Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill has opened up about his confusion over Kanye West’s past disses against him. To Meek, there might be something off with the Chicago rap icon Kanye West.

Taking to his X, formerly known as Twitter, account, Meek Mill shared his thoughts on Kanye’s disparaging comments about him from a few years ago. He stated that he found Kanye smart but a bit off.

This sentiment came from Meek buying 17 pairs of Yeezys since they started trading rap shots. He also mentioned listening to Kanye’s music to get him through his bid, calling Kanye a super legend. He was more confused about why Kanye was going so hard to go at him in the beginning.

A few hours later, the Dreams & Nightmares MC shared more insight into rap beef. He clarified that it’s always rap beef when you see them going at it. They know each other personally and would never let it go too far.

He described it as a bloody sport that needs to be rough with it. Meek was referencing comments by Kanye West on Clubhouse in 2022 following the backlash to his White Lives Matter shirt.

Kanye West suggested that the powers that he had rounded up some celebrities to call him out over the controversial outfit.

However, the idea that Meek, who had previously publicly criticized Kanye, was among this group of stars was hilarious to the G.O.O.D. Music founder.

Kanye expressed his amusement at the thought of celebrities like Puff Daddy, Dave Chappelle, and Meek Mill being rallied to say something to him over his White Lives Matter T-shirt.

It was hilarious that Meek Mill thought he could say something to him. This was followed by Kanye laughing uncontrollably.

Meek Mill is considering getting Ghanaian citizenship

Meanwhile, Meek Mill has expressed his desire to acquire Ghanaian citizenship, amidst relentless cyberbullying over his sexuality.

The Philadelphia-born artist has been a target of online trolls, who have been unyielding in their mockery.

“I wanna get citizenship in Ghana!!! America made to tear black men down if you don’t follow orders!” Meek Mill said.
