In the latest Collect Call With Suge Knight episode that aired on Dave Mays’ Breakbeat Media on Monday, March 11, the former music mogul claimed that rappers who paint their nails and purchase gifts from Diddy point to the fact that they belong to a select group.
He said, “Once they start dressing like women and painting their fingernails, they get you. I recall that when Andre went up to present Puffy with an expensive watch in front of everyone, they were giving him an award at the ASCAP Awards”.
“He essentially told this man that he loved him. Snoop and Puffy later became close friends. You always see the other one when you see one. The next thing you know, their fingernails are being painted. didn’t make sense. While Puffy was the one with more money than Game, the Game still bought him a Lamborghini. Why are you buying a Lamborghini for this man? It’s a fact that none of your friends own a Lamborghini. It’s that secret society, though, again, Knight added.
Suge Knight has talked about Dre, Snoop, Diddy, and the aforementioned “secret society” on his podcast in the past. He brought up the N.W.A. beatmaker’s history of violence against women and his affiliation with the group in February of last year to defend Chris Brown.
“A man who is a member of that exclusive group is going to be presented with an award called the Impact Award,” he said. “Muthafucka, he got more girls than anyone else.” This man wins an award for beating up women”.
The imprisoned record executive continued by drawing parallels between Dre’s situation and Chris Brown’s 2009 attack on Rihanna, his girlfriend at the time. He claimed that Brown ought to lose his title and that it was inappropriate for them to fight or for him to beat her up.
“I’m not saying that; I’m saying that they’re still hurling stones at him even though he beat up or got into a fight with one woman.”
“They don’t give him his cigar, they don’t let him come perform, and they pretty much don’t let him win awards,” he continued.
