American rapper Meek Mill has voiced concerns over what he perceives as targeted “cyber attacks” against Black artists and leaders, including himself.
In response, he has taken the proactive step of hiring a private investigator to delve into the origins of these attacks. This move comes amid a backdrop of social media trolling directed at his sexuality, which Meek Mill has firmly denounced.
Meek Mill’s decision to hire investigators was announced via his Twitter account, where he expressed his determination to uncover the entities behind the damaging online narratives.
“I just hired investigators to see to been starting these cyber-attacks against black artists and leaders. They making blogs post anything that destroys the black household and powering everything else down,” he wrote on X (Twitter).
His tweets suggest a broader conspiracy aimed at undermining the Black community, hinting at the involvement of significant corporations in these alleged cyber attacks.
The controversy has been further fueled by a lawsuit filed by Rodney Jones, which accuses music mogul Diddy of sexual assault.
The lawsuit has generated rumors, one of which implicates a male rapper from Philadelphia, previously linked romantically to Nicki Minaj, in a sexual relationship with Diddy. Meek Mill, also from Philadelphia and having previously dated Nicki Minaj, has found himself at the center of these speculations. He has responded with vehemence, stating, “I will never be gay or a rat …. Ima die like that and ima forever step!”
Meek Mill thinks of becoming a Ghanaian
Meanwhile, the rapper has expressed his desire to acquire Ghanaian citizenship, amidst relentless cyberbullying over his sexuality.
The Philadelphia-born artist has been a target of online trolls, who have been unyielding in their mockery.
“I wanna get citizenship in Ghana!!! America made to tear black men down if you don’t follow orders!” Meek said.
