Justin Timberlake’s Everything I Thought It Was, an album scheduled for release on March 15, 2024, would feature at least one Afrobeats talent, Fireboy DML.
The 18-track compilation has the Bandana crooner on track seven, titled Liar. Justin released a tracklist early this week, confirming the Fireboy DML as one of the three guest features.
The pending album has songs like Memphis, Fuckin’ Up the Dico, No Agels, Play, Infinity Sex, Love & War, Imagination, What Lovers Do, Selfish and others. Weeks ago, the singer and producer, teased fans with Drown off the album, which gained lots of traction online.
Another single Selfish has also been making waves to pave the way for the much-anticipated new project. As of March 5, 2024, the video for Selfish, the first single off the album, had recorded 17 million YouTube views.
Sometime in January, Justin indicated he would go on a tour, starting April 29, 2024, to promote the yet-to-be-released album, and he has since been releasing bits and pieces of the project to heighten public interest.
The 42-year-old, who described the album as one of his “best works,” stated that the album originally had 100 songs before he managed to trim it down to 18.
Justin calls his April trip “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour,” which would make a first stop at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC, Canada, before moving through Seattle, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and other key cities, and finally end on July 9, 2024, in Lexington, Kentucky.
The Mirrors crooner would perform songs from the new album when he went on his trip. “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour” will be Justin’s first trip in five years. Other cities on his travel list include” Los Angeles, CA; Atlanta, GA; Miami, FL; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Boston, MA; and many others.
