Plies has sent caution to predominantly Black Americans over the widespread belief that Donald Trump’s “Never Surrender High Top” sneaker is intended to win over black voters.
The Republican front-runner made an unexpected trip to Sneaker Con last week in Philadelphia to unveil the “Never Surrender High Top Sneaker,” a line of $399 gym shoes in red, blue, and gold.
In a network broadcast, Fox News contributor Raymond Arroyo stated, “This is (the shoes) connecting with Black America. They adore sneakers because they are into them. This is significant. In the inner city, for sure”.
Arroyo even predicted that Donald’s new shoes would cause black voters to defect from the Democratic Party and President Joe Biden.
Nonetheless, Plies has persisted in criticizing Donald Trump for his most recent remarks about black people, demonstrating his contempt for the former president.

A subset of black voters support Donald Trump regardless of his statements. Given that Plies recently went on a tirade about the controversial former president and urged people to open their eyes, some may feel that this directly calls into question their morality or intelligence.
Trump is currently running a campaign to win a second term in office. Speaking last week at a gathering in Columbia, South Carolina, he proposed that black people support him and his presidential campaign because he has been indicted in recent years; in other words, they can relate to him because he is facing discrimination, just as they have historically.
