Music enthusiasts have started jamming to the latest offering by Nigerian Afrobeats artiste and composer, Mr Eazi, Fefe ne Fefe.
The song is one of the musician’s musings for the last quarter of 2023 after he delivered the solid Afrobeats hit song called Werser early this year.
The new song, Fefe ne Fefe is similar to the 2004 ‘Fefe Na Efe’ version released by Ghanaian Hiplife sensation Tic Tac (now known as Tic) featuring Nigerian singer, Tony Tetuila.
With deep bass and lead guitar effects, the new single, however, sounds entirely different from Tic Tac’s original composition.
Mr Eazi, born Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, as always, brought his unalloyed talent and creativity to the song which will definitely find a place on the playlists of Disc Jockeys (DJs) across the world.
The production was handled by skilled producer Kel-P whose arrangements complement Mr Eazi’s soft and clear vocals.
Infectious melodies and catchy hooks on Fefe ne Fefe will make the listener want to put the song on repeat.
Mr Eazi is the creative and business visionary leading African music into its future. As a recording artiste, he has been the voice behind Afro-pop hits such as Pour Me Water, Skin Tight (featuring Efya), and Leg Over.
A serial entrepreneur, the 2021 Headies Award for Song of the Year winner is also the founder of emPawa Africa, a talent incubator program that funds and mentors emerging African artistes, and the digital music aggregator emPawa Distribution — initiatives hailed by CNN, Rolling Stone, Billboard & Forbes for their forward-thinking approach.
Mr Eazi’s ascent into global stardom has seen him clock over 300 million YouTube views and more than 5.8 million Spotify streams per month, making him one of Africa’s most streamed artistes.
