A brand-new alcoholic beverage “Gin & Juice” inspired by one of their most well-known songs has been unveiled by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

The two released an elegant teaser for their newest alcoholic beverage, “Gin & Juice,” over the weekend. In it, they play two gangsters who are similar to Vincent and Jules from Quentin Tarantino’s well-known 1994 movie Pulp Fiction.

The popular pair’s shared Twitter account revealed a sneak peek of the Gin & Juice, which will come in four flavors: apricot, citrus, melon, and passion fruit.

Notably, Defiant Ones LLC, a company that also happens to be the name of the 2017 miniseries that chronicles Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s partnership, filed several “Gin & Juice” trademarks last year.

The fact that the two artistes have a joint social media account called ByDreAndSnoop and that they don’t specifically mention any products suggests that more collaborations between them may come.

Snoop and Dre are also working together on a new album called Missionary. During a recent appearance on All the Smoke, Snoop talked with hosts Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson about the creative process behind the project.

He compared it to a mature Snoop Dogg when he said, “You hear what we have and how he got me rapping. He has shown some growth. It’s the way he uses his voice and the bars he chooses. I love that [Dr. Dre] uses me like a f*cking robot because I enjoy being produced. I enjoy a good challenge.

At the end of the teaser, which showed Dre and Snoop reenacting a scene from the 90s cult classic film, dressed in black suits and white button-ups, the 5.9 percent alcohol beverage was prominently featured.

Everything about the video felt like the build-up to a music announcement, from the fighting in a parked car to opening the trunk to get something that needed to be buried in an impromptu grave.

Snoop Dogg first mentioned working with Dre on a new album in 2022. He stated at the time that they had been working on a project, called Missionary, for two months and that it would be made available through The Chronic’s Aftermath imprint and his recently acquired label, Death Row Records.

The 16-time Grammy nominee also said when asked by the hosts Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, in January about the project, Snoop stated: “We finishing that up right now, tidying up the pieces. You know, he’s a perfectionist. It’s like a grown-up Snoop Dogg when you hear what we have and how he got me rapping.”

Regarding the release date, Snoop shared a humorous anecdote about how Dre has a way of shifting the objective posts. “About two years ago, the n**ga gave me a call one day…N**ga, come over, let me do a couple of songs with you,” he exclaimed.

I approach him and he says, ‘N**ga, let me work on your record.’ And I say, “Okay, let’s move.” We enter the studio and quickly finish a few songs. “I need two more days,” he retorted to me. “I must have received that call 85 times or more”, he joked. “This n**ga needs two more days every time.”

However, in a different interview with Rock The Bells, Snoop said, “Nope,” in response to the question of what information he could provide about their upcoming album. Dr. Dre refuses to let me on.

Fans of the two rap legends will have to wait a little longer to find out whether Gin & Juice is a part of the wider launch of the much-awaited partnership they have been developing.
