Music lovers and strict admirers of Taylor Swift would be looking forward to hearing another masterpiece as the singer prepares to launch her new album sometime in April this year.
Swift won her 13th Grammy for her album Midnights on Sunday and took the opportunity to announce her next project titled: The Tortured Poets Department.
She had since posted artwork for the new album on her social media, posing in a black-and-white photo of herself lying on a bed. Fans have been asked to pre-save the 16-track album and a bonus track which will be available on April 19, 2024.
The album is said to have guest appearances, including Sunflower crooner Post Malone. The bonus track on the album is titled The Manuscript.
Others are Fortnight [ft. Post Malone], My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys, Down Bad, So Long, London, But Daddy I Love Him, Fresh Out the Slammer, Guilty as Sin, and many others.
Taylor Swift has been on an upward trajectory, with many of her songs making the Billboard Hot Hundred. She had won many awards before grabbing the ultimate at the 66th Grammys.
Last year, she was the biggest female winner at the Billboard Music Awards and was also named Spotify’s Top Global Artist in 2023, a feeling she described as “unbelievable.”
She released the single “You’re Losing Me” on her birthday last year and had also been on her The Eras Tour, which she described as a journey through all of her musical “eras.”
