Snoop Dogg has expressed a different opinion about former President Donald Trump compared to his sentiments seven or eight years ago.
The rapper disliked Trump at the start of his presidency in 2017, and he did not stress to hide it. On different occasions, he made jokes about the then-president’s demise.
The first was the release of a music video for the song Lavender, which depicted a clown-like version of Trump and featured a scene where Snoop fired a fake gun at him. Additionally, the cover of his album Make America Crip Again portrayed Trump as deceased.

But in a surprising turn of events, Snoop does not want Trump’s demise anymore, and he is even extending love to him.
The rapper recently opened up about his changed perspective on Trump during an interview with the Sunday Times, where he shared his thoughts on the former president’s prospects for the 2024 election.
Acknowledging the shift in his views on Trump, Snoop indicated that the former president had personally benefitted him by pardoning Michael Harris. Harris, a co-founder of Death Row Records, was pardoned by Trump in early 2021 after serving a lengthy prison sentence.
“Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me. He has done only great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris, so I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump,” a grateful Snoop is reported to have said.
