Shaquille O’Neal surprised Chicago-based rapper GAWNE with an extravagant $1 million Rolls-Royce.

The big gift from the NBA legend came after after teaming up for a new single and music video release, HipHopDx reported.

The report indicated that GAWNE first connected with Shaq after receiving an Instagram direct message from the Hall of Famer. O’Neal expressed his “passion for rap” and interest in collaborating, according to GAWNE.

Shaq’s dedication blows GAWNE away

The independent artist told media he was “blown away” by Shaq’s intense commitment during the recording session for their track “CHAOS,” released December 8th.

“He was so passionate and loves rap so much, in every single take he was rapping his heart out. It was such a magical experience,” GAWNE shared.

However, Shaquille O’Neal had another big surprise up his sleeve following their video shoot. In a clip posted by GAWNE, Shaq gifts the stunned rapper a custom Rolls Royce luxury vehicle worth $1 million.

“Now I gotta take an Uber,” Shaq quips after presenting GAWNE with the extravagant reward for their joint effort.

The high-profile collaboration and lavish gift underscores Shaq’s enduring devotion to the art and artists continuing hip hop’s legacy.

2 Chainz involved in car crash

In other news, rapper 2 Chainz has reportedly been hospitalized following an accident on Saturday morning.

2 Chainz got rushed to the hospital after a car he was driving in Miami crashed, leaving the vehicle badly damaged.

The Welcome 2 Collegrove rapper is understood to have visited Miami to partake in the Art Basel festival.
