50 Cent is not happy about Courtney A. Kemp’s new Netflix series, Nemesis, which is inspired by The Power but doesn’t include him or most of the original cast.
The new show, announced this week, stars Shane Johnson, who played Cooper Saxe in Power. It tells the story of a top criminal, Coltrane Wilder, going head-to-head with detective Isaiah Stiles.
The plot focuses on their battle and the deeper personal and emotional struggles they face. Netflix says the show will be filled with action, family drama, and high-stakes tension.

The cast also includes Matthew Law, Y’Ian Noel, Cleopatra Coleman, Tre Hale, Domenick Lombardozzi, Jonnie Park, Ariana Guerra, Gabrielle Dennis, Michael Potts, Sophina Brown, Jeff Pierre, and Cedric Joe.
50 Cent, who helped build the Power universe and played Kanan in the original series, reacted to the news on Instagram. He made it clear he was not impressed and dismissed the idea of this being a real Power reunion, pointing out that only one actor from the original show is involved.
Shane Johnson defended his role in the comments, saying that his return as Saxe should be enough to get fans excited.

Nemesis comes at a time when most of the Power spin-offs are reaching their end. However, 50 Cent has said the universe is not done.
Last year, he teased another spin-off on STARZ and promised more stories featuring fan-favorite characters. He also revealed that a prequel series called Power Origins, focused on young Ghost and Tommy, is in development. No release date has been announced yet.
The original Power aired in 2014 and ran for six seasons before launching three spin-offs: *Power Book II: Ghost*, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Power Book IV: Force.
The franchise became one of the biggest TV crime sagas in recent years, with 50 Cent playing a key role both onscreen and behind the scenes.
