Suge Knight has made it apparent that Ye, better known by his stage name Kanye West, went too far with his most recent divisive comments against his contemporaries in the industry, particularly Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s kids.

The co-founder of Death Row Records didn’t mince words when he recently spoke from prison on The Art of Dialogue podcast, denouncing Ye for making fun of the Carters’ 7-year-old twins, Sir and Rumi. Knight remarked, “I have to holla at Kanye.”
“We never, ever treat anyone’s children disrespectfully. When discussing Jay and Beyoncé’s kids, you don’t refer to them as “r*tarded.” We will not do that. There are actual repercussions for such kinds of behaviors.

Knight continued by saying that he was disappointed with Ye’s actions and that the Hip-Hop community needs to be held to a higher moral standard.
He went on to say, “I hold people in our community and hip-hop to higher standards than that.” “As Black people, we made great strides as slaves, not to defend the children or crippled. I don’t find that amusing at all. Then he went further, stating that Kanye “needs an old-fashioned a-whooping” and labeling him a “bih.”

Knight offered nothing but admiration for Beyoncé, praising her commitment to music and her influence on society, even if he had criticized Ye. “Beyoncé puts in a great deal of effort in her efforts for hip-hop and our community. He went on to say, “Her sister and her entire family are good people.”

Kanye made disparaging remarks regarding the mental health of JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s youngest children in a string of provocative social media postings, which sparked the reaction. Earlier last month, Ye posted one of his most startling tirades on X: “WAIT, HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN JAY Z AND BEYONCES YOUNGER KIDS. THEYRE R*TARDED. NO LIKE LITERALLY. AND THIS IS WHY ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION IS A BLESSING. HAVING R*TARDED CHILDREN IS A CHOICE.”

West removed the post later, but not before sending another unsettling message: “I NEED EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT I TOOK THE POST ABOUT JAY Z AND BEYONCE’S FAMILY DOWN AND JERRY LORENZO’S FAMILY DOWN BECAUSE THERE WAS A POSSIBILITY OF MY TWITTER BEING CANCELLED, NOT BECAUSE IM A GOOD PERSON. I TOOK IT DOWN LIKE DOWN SYNDROME. GET IT. AM I RIGHT. F**K THE WORLD. REAL TALK. F**K EEEEVVEEERREEE BODY.”

Kanye persisted in his assault on the power couple, refusing to back down, writing: “AT LEAST JAY Z AND BEYONCÉ GET TO RAISE THEIR RTARDED A* KIDS. AINT NO CELEBRITY EVER SAID NOTHING TO COME TO MY AID WHEN IT CAME TO THESE WHITE WOMEN TAKING MY KIDS. CAUSE THEY WAS MAD I WAS WEARING TRUMP HAT. FK JAY Z AND HIS WHOLE FAMILY. ESPECIALLY HIS SHOOTERS. AND NOW THAT YOU THINK JAY Z PUY A** MADE ME TAKE IT DOWN I GOT TO DOUBLE DOWN.
