Social media is ablaze with reactions to DDG’s latest claims that his ex, Halle Bailey, is blocking him from seeing their one-year-old son, Halo, in what’s becoming an increasingly tense co-parenting saga.
The popular streamer and rapper’s outburst has fans buzzing, especially given the couple’s well-documented father-son moments that seem to contradict his narrative.

During a recent livestream, DDG aired his frustrations, alleging he’s been “fighting” to see Halo “since he was born.”
He complained, “I live far as s**t so I’m driving HOURS to go get him. Then I get there and I can’t get him or I can’t see him. My son is sick right now. I want to see my son. I want to hold my son… but I don’t get a chance to do that.”

He insisted the issue isn’t tied to his work schedule, adding, “It don’t have nothing to do with me working by the way. Not gonna air out her business, me & her has not been together for a long time. I just never got on the internet and said nothing.”
His frustration peaked as he lamented, “I really feel like I’m a f*cking nanny at this point. The nanny has been able to have my son more than me. I been dealing with this st since he was born. I’m really just coming on this motherfker as just a dad that don’t know what to do at this point.”
Yet, skeptics quickly pointed to the numerous viral clips of DDG and Halo together, questioning the validity of his claims.
Critics, especially Halle’s loyal fanbase, didn’t hold back, accusing DDG of spinning a tale to paint her as the villain.
Some suggested he’s manipulating fans to garner sympathy. Undeterred, DDG doubled down with a new single, “Don’t Take My Son,” where he raps about his co-parenting struggles with Halle—though it’s unlikely she’ll dignify it with a response.
