From winning five Grammys, including Record and Song of the Year for Not Like Us, to headlining the Halftime Show, to making Spotify streaming records, and now topping the UK singles chart, the first quarter of 2025 has been truly amazing for Kendrick Lamar.

Lamar’s diss track has now become the acclaimed rapper’s first-ever UK Number 1 single, nine months after its release.

This rise in chart domination is a result of his Super Bowl performance, which, according to the NFL, became the most-watched halftime show ever with 133.5 million viewers.

Days after the performance, Not Like Us re-entered the Official Singles Chart Top 10 at Number 2 and later ascended to the top spot.

Gaining 6.4 million streams over the last 7 days, Not Like Us also earned the title of the most-streamed song.

Not Like Us wasn’t the only Kendrick song that saw the jump; two of his collabs with SZA, Luther (4) and All The Stars (5), rebounded into the Top 5 that same week, with Luther reaching a brand-new peak and All The Stars a re-peak.

The high peak also furthered down to his favorite collaborator artist SZA’s own 30 for 30.

Drake has also made his way into the official charts, with three songs from his joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, entering the top 40.

The album itself, which was released on Valentine’s Day, sits at number three in this week’s UK album chart.

While Kendrick’s latest release, GNX, climbed from number four to number one, 2017’s DAMN. is at nine, and 2012’s good kid, m.A.A.d city reached No. 10.
