Rapper Inga DeCarlo Fung Marchand, famed as, Foxy Brown, has responded to Lil Kim’s claim that her autobiography, “The Queen Bee,” is larger than the Bible.

The Brooklyn native first announced her autobiography, The Queen Bee, in August and noted that it was co-written by Kathy Landoli.

Lil Kim was giving fans an update on the progress of her book’s publication during an Instagram Live discussion during which she made a daring statement regarding the sales of her upcoming memoir.

“We’re surpassing the Bible when we post our pre-sales,” the 49-year-old declared.

“The thing is, it’s like the Bible; I don’t take that lightly. My book is done. “I’m going to let you know what’s happening through a letter, but it’s not cool… But remember that. We’re going to surpass the Bible when we post our presales; it’s that crazy. I’m already aware of it. However, there seems to be some insane stuff happening behind the scenes. Dealing with these book companies requires extreme caution, as they try to take advantage of you.”

However, Kim’s “Bible” comment is generating heat. On social media, commenters pounced on the daring statement, labeling the renowned rapper anything from “delusional” to “overzealous,” “sacrilegious,” or outright “liar.”

Foxy Brown, a fellow rapper and Kim’s former rival is among those making headlines following the latter’s comments.

The Hot Spot hitmaker responded to the viral videos with a brief comment on his Instagram story, writing “BIBLE [crying face emoji]” and “[facepalm emoji, laughing emoji]” after Kim had made her claim hours earlier.

The release date of The Queen Bee is unknown but speculations are that it has to be soon because Kim is already discussing pre-sales.

For context, the Christian Bible is said to be the best-selling book of all time by Guinness World Records, with a total estimated number of between 5 and 7 billion copies, according to research published by the British and Foreign Bible Society in 2021. However, the precise number of copies printed in the approximate 1500 years since its contents were standardized is unknown.
