Megan Thee Stallion is under renewed legal scrutiny. Her former photographer, Emilio Garcia, has filed an amended lawsuit containing ten new allegations against the Houston rap sensation.

The revised 54-page filing expands on Garcia’s original claims from 2024, presenting additional accusations ranging from workplace misclassification to personal misconduct.

Among the new claims, Garcia alleges he was misclassified as an independent contractor instead of an employee. He also accuses Megan of throwing a TV remote at his head during a hotel stay in 2022.

Further, the suit revisits an earlier claim that Megan engaged in intimate acts in his presence, now alleging that she referenced the incident in the lyrics of her October 2024 album Megan: Act. II.

Garcia points to lines from the track Best Friend, where Megan raps about interactions with another woman, suggesting she ‘relished’ the described scenario. He argues these lyrics corroborate his allegations of unprofessional behavior.

Megan Thee Stallion’s legal team previously dismissed the lawsuit as a baseless attempt to gain attention. They described Garcia as a ‘con artist’ exploiting the judicial system to tarnish Megan’s reputation and promote his career.

Her attorneys provided invoices, payment records, and social media posts to argue that Garcia’s claims lack merit and that the suit is a standard labor dispute being sensationalized.

The case, originally filed in California, has faced jurisdictional challenges from Megan’s team, citing a lack of ties to the state for both parties. Megan resides in Miami, and Garcia is also not a California resident. The incidents occurred outside California, leading the court to move the case to New York, which remains ongoing.

Garcia’s attorney countered Megan’s arguments, stating that the lawsuit highlights her alleged unlawful actions and is not an attempt to garner fame. He criticized her legal team’s tactics, accusing them of trying to shame the victim and shift blame.
