Former NFL star turned broadcaster Tim Tebow and his wife, former Miss Universe and South African model Demi-Leigh, are expecting their first baby together.
The couple who tied the knot in a 30-minute ceremony in South Africa after their engagement on January 10, 2019, announced on social media Tuesday, January 14, 2025, with the caption Baby Tebow.

In an exclusive interview with People.com Tim Tebow, 37, and Demi-Leigh, 29, spoke on their experience so far as expecting parents. “We are just so excited and so over the moon to be having a baby together,” Demi-Leigh told People.com
Tebow said he’s still kind of in disbelief that he’s going to be a dad. But whenever he looks at Demi-Leigh and sees how much her belly’s grown, it starts to feel more and more real: “It just becomes so real.”

Tebow, known for his Christian beliefs, has publicly opposed abortion. He has participated in several anti-abortion events, including the 2021 March for Life, where he delivered a keynote address. He has been identified as a strong supporter of the pro-life movement, which he attributes in part to his own experience as a child born by a mother who decided to carry to term.

He is also a strong advocate for faith-based abstinence and has publicly stated that he had maintained his virginity before marriage and has also spoken numerous times at events organized by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
