Snoop Dogg is stepping up to help Los Angeles as the city battles the devastating wildfires that have claimed at least 24 lives and destroyed thousands of homes, including Jhene Aiko’s house.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on January 13, the rap icon spoke about the tragedy and his efforts to support those in need.

He emphasized the importance of unity in the face of such disasters, noting that Californians and people from around the world are coming together to make a difference.

He praised the firefighters on the frontlines, acknowledging their tireless work and the often-overlooked nature of their efforts. Snoop called for more recognition and respect for the brave individuals who risk their lives to protect others.

The rapper also highlighted his own role in providing aid, stating that his team is working directly on the ground to ensure that the right people receive the necessary assistance.

He explained how donations often do not reach the individuals who need them most. To combat this, Snoop’s team is making sure no one is left behind, focusing on providing aid where it is needed most.

“A lot of people that’s out there on the ground that’s making things happen. I’m pushing buttons, making things happen, and making sure that the right people are getting the things they need,” he said.

That includes getting aid to people who don’t usually receive relief.

“We need to make sure that everybody who needs this gets this. So what my team does, is we go on the ground and we make sure that we make a direct connection with those people and aren’t missing anybody,” he explained.

Snoop also shared that he received a call from a bank offering to donate funds to help those who have lost their homes. He revealed that there have been discussions about hosting a benefit concert, where he would perform without taking any payment, with all proceeds going directly to support victims of the fires.

The Game is also helping LA fire victims like Snoop Dogg

Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg is not the only celebrity contributing to the relief effort. Fellow rapper The Game, also from California, has been actively involved in aiding firefighters, providing them with food, water, and other supplies.

His social media posts showed him working alongside the courageous crews, offering support in any way possible. He expressed his deep sympathy for the victims and his commitment to helping his community through this crisis.
