DJ Khaled has reached a major career milestone, securing his first-ever Diamond plaque from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Khaled shared the exciting news on Instagram, revealing that his 2017 hit single ‘I’m the One’ had been officially certified Diamond, a prestigious honor for sales of 10 million units.

The track, which features Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper, and Lil Wayne, made an immediate impact when it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The collaboration marked a breakthrough for all the artists involved: it was Chance and Quavo’s first solo No. 1, while Bieber claimed his fourth and Lil Wayne his third. The song quickly knocked Bruno Mars ‘That’s What I Like’ off the top spot, making it one of Khaled’s biggest successes to date.

Khaled’s celebration of this monumental achievement comes on the heels of another significant honor he received earlier this year.

In May, the music mogul was recognized for his contributions to both music and his local community with a special ‘DJ Khaled Day’ in Miami. This tribute highlighted his impact as an artist and philanthropist, particularly through his work with his We The Best Foundation, which supports various charitable causes.
