Sports fans who double as fans of music superstar, Beyonce, would be hosted by the Houston Texans when they face off with the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium at 4:30 PM ET on Christmas Day.
Houston native, Beyonce, is expected to join fans on the field and perform at the event.
Beyoncé’s performance, which will be produced by her company, Parkwood Entertainment, in collaboration with Jesse Collins Entertainment, will mark Netflix’s first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday.
A press release notes, “Although the details of her performance are under wraps, Beyoncé is expected to feature some special guests who are featured on the Cowboy Carter album.”
Beyoncé has substantial halftime experience, having performed at two Super Bowl games during her career.

Not only did she headline Super Bowl XLVII on February 3, 2013, in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she was joined onstage by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, her bandmates in Destiny’s Child, but on February 7, 2016, she also joined Coldplay and Bruno Mars in Santa Clara, California, for one of the most-watched Super Bowl halftime shows, with 115.5 million viewers tuning in to see her get in “Formation.”
Sharing the news with her fans, Beyoncé made the announcement in the most unusual way; through a creative visual where she is seen standing in front of a microphone on top of a vintage car adorned with red roses. She then catches a football and poses in her patriotic attire.
Also getting ready to give fans the thrill of a lifetime is Kendrick Lamar, who is set to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show next February in New Orleans.
“Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why,” Lamar said in a statement. “They got the right one.”
