The singer SZA, known in real life as Solána Imani Rowe, is opening up about her regret of getting a BBL in an interview with British Vogue, which was published last week November 14.
“I’m so mad I did that s—,” SZA, told the British Vogue.
I gained all this weight from being immobile while recovering and trying to preserve the fat. It was just so stupid,” she said.
“But who gives a f—?” she added. “You got a BBL; you realize you didn’t need the s—. It doesn’t matter.
SZA added that the BBL was unnecessary because she had more important things to focus on.
“I needed to get my f–king mental health together. Not to say you can’t do those things simultaneously; just, for me, I realize wherever you go, there you’ll be.”
The singer expressed and admitted to regretting her decision, during the interview, and also expressed how much she liked her body now.
I’ll do a whole bunch more s— just like it if I want to before I’m f—ing dead because this body is temporary. It just wasn’t super necessary.”
In 2022, SZA surprised fans when she popped out with a BBL and subtly confirmed she got one in her hit song “Conceited.”
The actress also does not give a definite no to future cosmetic procedures.
The singer first revealed she had gotten a BBL during an interview with ELLE magazine in 2023.
She explained at the time: “I treat my butt like a purse. It’s just there to enhance whatever else and that’s why I paid for it, because it works all by itself. I always wanted a really fat ass with less gym time. I didn’t succumb to industry pressure. I succumbed to my own eyes in the mirror and being like, ‘No, I need some more ass.’”
On the “SHE MD” podcast in March 2024, SZA spoke candidly about her cosmetic surgeries. She has also previously opened up about her issues with her breast implants.
