Tyrese Gibson has blamed supporters of Donald Trump for trying to link him with explicit videos with Sean “Diddy” Combs.
He believes his endorsement of Vice President Kamala is the reason some people want to drag his name in the mud.
On November 5, the Fast and Furious star showed his support for Kamala Harris when he held a Harris-Walz sign and flaunted his “I Voted” sticker.
Tyrese said rumors of a video with him and Combs began to circulate after the endorsement, and he believes supporters of the president-elect were behind the conspiracy theory.
Though his followers do not take the allegations seriously, Tyrese explained on Instagram that he was not involved in any scandalous activity at Sean Combs’ parties.
“There is no such thing as a Diddy tape, literally…I want to tell y’all that I’ve been to some of the most legendary parties, I got no regrets.”
“If you’re from L.A. and you’ve been to these parties, you would know that Diddy always had the most legendary parties that were always star-studded,” Tyrese wrote.
“I got plenty of photos, proudly, like every other celebrity and star that went to his party… There is no such thing allegedly as a Tyrese-Diddy tape. That is a bunch of Donald Trump [people] trying to discourage me from speaking up and speaking out,” he added.
Tyrese had publicly defended Diddy after he was arrested by authorities on charges of sex trafficking and others.
“I don’t condone nor do I support abuse, bullying, sexual assault, or anything that is currently being alleged but what I can’t do is turn the blinds on how much this means to me and all of us and what he has done for the community of music and culture.”
“I’m praying for Diddy, his kids, his family, his mother, and all of the alleged victims that are in the middle of trying to simply have their voices heard.
“I love this brother he’s been nothing but kind and generous towards me, and that’s the way I feel praying and praying for more of a better outcome of all of this happening. God bless you Diddy, if you ever need to call me and just need a listening here, I’m right here, bro,” Gibson wrote in an Instagram post which has been deleted.
