R&B star Omarion hosted a friends and family party at a private residence, marking his 40th birthday in style. Post-event pictures that have appeared online captured him beaming while interacting with guests.

The guest list included Jhene Aiko, the songstress, and a host of others who joined the colourful celebration. The party followed Omarion’s recent appearance on the drama series Wild Rose.

An eight-episode original series, the movie was created by LaRay and has Omarion as executive producer.

He reportedly played the character Roosevelt, aka “Rose,” a hitman “raised in a family of elite assassins who operated under the guise of a non-profit organization.”

The production tells the story of Rose (Omarion), who always followed orders but things turned upside down when his wife and daughter mysteriously walked out of his life.

Per the plot, he is trained to trust no one so he suspects foul play and finds himself questioning everything and everyone. As he embarked on a journey to find the truth, he found secrets that forced him to question his identity within his own family.

Omarion expressed his excitement about being featured in the movie during an interview.

“I’m ecstatic that I’m back on your television in a new way. The Wild Rose is coming….I can’t wait for fans and everyone else to see a different side of me.

“Rose is not your average assassin, and this role has me stepping out of my comfort zone. Every project is a chance to grow, and Wild Rose is going to keep people on the edge of their seats,” he stated.

In August this year, Omarion opened up about a three-year period of celibacy during the peak of his career.

At the time, he said he was seeking something greater for himself beyond the physical pleasures often associated with fame.

Omarion, who rose to prominence as a member of the boy band B2K and later as a solo artist, reflected on how the journey of celibacy impacted his mental, physical, and spiritual health.

He revealed having been practicing Christianity actively and delving into his faith, which played a significant role in his decision.

For him, abstaining from sex was not just a religious practice but a way to step away from the pressures of being a sex symbol and a public figure.

He saw it as an opportunity to focus on his personal growth and to align his actions with his words, avoiding the pitfalls of living a double life.

He said he was not swayed by the societal expectations but saw the period as a time to understand his energy and allow himself the space to grow.
