Dr. Bernice King, the daughter of civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr., has reacted to a post purportedly endorsing Donald Trump that imitates her late father.

The video that infuriated Dr King was reportedly posted by a random supporter of Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) fan base.

Dr. Bernice, also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, asked representatives of the MAGA Resource team to delete the video.

“It’s vile, fake, irresponsible, and not at all reflective of what my father would say… And you gave no thought to our family,” she said in a post on X.

According to sources, the video was subsequently deleted, but personnel were unable to establish if was produced and approved by Donald Trump’s official campaign team.

Some social media users reacted to the video which they also thought was inappropriate. “You’re a terrible person for this, by the way…Deepfaking MLK is diabolical work,” a user wrote.

The race for the White House between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump is still in progress as many Americans cast their vote.

Ahead of the election on Nov. 5, both candidates had had much celebrity endorsement. Notable among them is Megan Thee Stallion who endorsed Kamala Harris and encouraged people not to abstain from voting in the general election.

She believed those who desire more from the government must participate in the electoral process.

For Legendary rapper, 50 Cent, he claimed declining a $3 million offer to perform at Donald Trump’s recent rally at Madison Square Garden.

Appearing on the Breakfast Club show on Tuesday, Oct. 29, the Candy Shop crooner confirmed that he was paid to endorse the Republican candidate but was not prepared to do anybody’s bidding.
