Keke Palmer and SZA are preparing to have one of their days and movie lovers are preparing to follow suit in the cinemas for One Of Them Days

Sony Pictures announced the title for the R-rated buddy comedy movie starring the pair that will hit theaters on January 24, 2025.

This SZA big screen debut is coming off the success of her Grammy-nominated album, Saturn.

But it sure isn’t Keke’s. Palmer is known for films including Akeelah and the Bee, Nope and Hustlers, Ice Age, Madea, The Pickup, Good Fortune, and many more.

It is also not the first time Keke Palmer and Sza are working together as it is sort of a reunion for the two actors following their shared Saturday Night Live episode back in 2022.

The film was developed as part of Sony’s CoCre lab, which was a previous collaboration between the studio and ColorCreative to support ascending, diverse screenwriters in developing original feature ideas.

Directed by Lawrence Lamont, produced by Issa Rae, and with Macro Film Studios financing the project.

Singleton is a co-producer, and Palmer and Sharon Palmer of Big Boss are executive producers.

One of Them Days centers on best friends and roommates Dreux (Palmer) and Alyssa (SZA).

Struggling to pay rent after learning that Alyssa’s boyfriend has squandered their rent money, leading to a full day of hijinks as the duo embarks on a whirlwind adventure to fulfill the payment.

The official trailer was also released for the project co-stars Lil Rel Howery, Janelle James, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Maude Apatow, Katt Williams, Joshua Neal, Aziza Scott, Patrick Cage, and Amin Joseph.

The film, however, is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide this coming January 24, 2025.
