Angel Reese invited her mentor Shaquille O’Neal to a sit-down on her Unapologetically Angel podcast, but things went south quickly.
This has resulted in Shaquille O’Neal being dragged online for his comments regarding Reese’s outfit from a recent Wild ‘N Out episode.
The former NBA legend commented on Reese’s appearance referring to it as “those same little shorts,” adding that, hypothetically, it might help her sell merchandise.
According to the video, the exchange happened as the two discussed potential changes to the WNBA rules, such as lowering the rim to allow more dunking.
However, the focus quickly shifted to O’Neal’s remarks, which some social media users thought were inappropriate.

What seemed to be the controversial comment was when Shaq suggested:
“Bro, imagine you in those little a** shorts you had on at the Wild’n Out show, dunking. You know how many t-shirts you’re going to sell, you trippin.”
Angel Reese, seemingly uncomfortable, rolled her eyes and laughed as she said, “Oh my god.”
O’Neal persisted, “What? What? Those same little a** shorts,” as the podcast host tried to interrupt, she said, “Ok, alright, alright, alright,” in an effort to stop him and change the subject.
