50 Cent is taking legal action against a well-known jeweler, TraxNYC. The G-Unit mogul is suing the jeweler for a staggering $5 million, accusing him of using his likeness to sell counterfeit chains.

The rapper claims that TraxNYC, whose real name is Maksud Trax Agadjani, has been violating his trademark and publicity right through social media posts.

According to TMZ’s report on the lawsuit, TraxNYC posted several TikTok videos and pictures that featured 50 Cent wearing jewelry, leading fans to believe the rapper was associated with the brand.

In one particularly bold video, TraxNYC advertised a chain similar to 50’s famous diamond cross, openly stating that he had copied the rapper’s style. The jeweler’s actions did not sit well with the Queens native, who took to his favorite social media platform, Instagram, to issue a warning.

50 Cent made it clear he wasn’t amused by the jeweler’s antics, stating that TraxNYC’s decision to use his image for commercial purposes was a bad idea and would have consequences.

The rapper, known for his no-nonsense attitude, said the jeweler would soon regret the move. The lawsuit was filed shortly after, accusing TraxNYC of trademark infringement and profiting off 50’s image without permission.

Despite the legal heat, TraxNYC has publicly pleaded for 50 to drop the lawsuit, framing his use of the cross as a symbol of forgiveness and redemption. However, 50 Cent doesn’t seem ready to forgive, keeping his focus on what he calls an outright violation of his rights.
