22-year-old South African music sensation Tyla has unveiled the deluxe edition of her self-titled debut album, which was released on Friday, October 11, through FAX and Epic Records.

The new version adds three exciting tracks, expanding her already impressive collection. The additions include Shake Ah, featuring Tony Duardo, Optimist, and Maestro; Push 2 Start and Back to You

Originally launched on March 22, 2024, the first version of Tyla captivated audiences with its 14 tracks, showcasing her versatility and talent.

The album includes hit singles such as her Billboard Hot 100 No. 7 track Water, as well as Truth or Dare, Art, and Jump, featuring Gunna and Skillibeng. Collaborations with notable artists like Kelvin Momo on Intro, Tems on No.1, Becky G on On My Body, and Travis Scott on the Water – Remix further elevated the album’s appeal. The album made waves on the charts, peaking at No. 24 on the Billboard 200, No. 2 on Top R&B Albums, and claiming the No. 1 spot on World Albums for five consecutive weeks.

The 22-year-old’s rapid rise to stardom has been marked by a series of accolades. Earlier this year, she received the inaugural Best African Music Performance Grammy for Water, which also won Best Afrobeats at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. Her recognition continued as she won the Global Force award at Billboard’s first-ever R&B No. 1s party in New York, solidifying her place in the music industry.

Fans can look forward to seeing Tyla perform live during the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday, October 15, in New York City. The event, featuring an all-female lineup that includes Cher and LISA, will be streamed live at 7 p.m. ET across various platforms, including Victoria’s Secret’s Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Amazon Live & Prime Video.
