Adria English, the former adult film star who filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, is on the verge of losing her legal team.
According to reports, her attorneys have moved to withdraw from the case, citing a breakdown in communication and difficult client behavior.
The news comes just months after English filed explosive claims against the music mogul, alleging he had engaged in inappropriate and coercive behavior, including demands for oral sex from her boyfriend and allegations of grooming her for sex trafficking at his high-profile parties.
Documents published by TMZ indicate that attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, who has been representing English, has filed to step away from the case. Mitchell-Kidd cited “conflicting instructions” from her client and English’s “self-destructive activities,” which made it “impossible” to continue representing her.
The decision to withdraw is a significant setback for English, whose claims have been met with strong denials from Diddy and his legal team. A spokesperson for Diddy responded to the legal developments, emphasizing that English’s allegations were baseless from the start.
In the lawsuit, English — who worked under the stage name Omunique during her adult film career — claimed that Diddy hired her to perform sexual acts at his notorious parties, which were frequented by high-profile guests. She also alleged that Diddy made a direct request for her boyfriend to perform oral sex on him, an offer the boyfriend declined. Despite this, English claimed the couple continued to attend these events, with her working as a dancer at some of Diddy’s infamous parties in the Hamptons.
English has also accused Diddy of lacing her drinks with ecstasy and encouraging inappropriate behavior with partygoers. She claimed she was ultimately “groomed” for sex trafficking at these gatherings and alleged she was paid extra for engaging in sexual activities, including an encounter with celebrity jeweler Jacob Arabo.
