Early this week, Rap goddess Nicki Minaj celebrated her son’s fourth birthday with adorable pictures of the little boy on Instagram.

The photo collection showed the son, also known as Papa Bear, spending time with his father Kenneth Petty. In one of the pictures, the child was sitting behind a car steering wheel, pretending to drive.

Others showed Nicki Minaj holding the baby at the time they were discharged from the delivery room. The Run The World singer reportedly gave birth to her baby boy in September. 30, in Los Angeles, according to sources close to the family.

In the photo caption, Nicki Minaj wrote: “Dear PapaBear, Happy 4th birthday, buddy… You’ve made mama & daddy so happy. Since you were in Mama’s tummy, you gave me a whole new meaning to life. Hope.”

“May God watch over you always & guide your path. No weapon formed against you will prosper. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen,” the Pink Friday artiste added.

Appearing on a show in December 2023, the celebrated diva spoke about Papa Bear’s “surprising” personality traits, indicating that she was shocked to discover that her son was “so strong” and “bossy” at times.

“He’s so strong! I never imagined that a baby could be strong. If he wants to push me, my body will move…He runs everything. And he’s been watching that movie, the Boss Baby movie. So he acts like that,” she stated.

The musician also highlighted the challenge of parenthood as she balanced that with her career.

“I don’t know how y’all did it…God bless y’all because I didn’t understand how in-depth this thing was. It never stops. It’s every day,” she said, praising parents for their everyday duties.

During another interview appearance in February 2022, the hip-hop heavyweight said she had become “more of a forgiving person” since becoming a mother.

“I think motherhood has made me see more good in people, more good in the universe…When I look at my son, I’m reminded that I am so blessed. I realized, for so many women, this is their dream.

“Their dream is to have a child and not everybody gets that blessing. So when you have a little baby, you are reminded every day like, ‘Oh my God. Thank you God for this little gift,” she said at the time.
