LeBron James has celebrated his new collaboration with Hennessy with a private dinner at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The top basketball icon won gold for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics and believed it would be appropriate to unwind in style after the new agreement with the whisky manufacturer.
Hennessy and LeBron celebrated the partnership on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Hennessy also issued a press release, unveiling its limited edition “V.S.” bottle by LeBron.
“This first-time collaboration between Hennessy and LeBron James unites two giants in their respective fields and brings an unexpected twist to fans and the industry.
“Their mutual respect, shared drive for excellence and commitment to pushing boundaries make this partnership a celebration of greatness and serves as a reminder that Hennessy is made for more,” the statement added.
Featuring “vibrant” and “distinctive designs” on the bottle, the manufacturers said it was to acknowledge LeBron’s global impact on and off the court. Pictures from the event later appeared online.
In August this year, LeBron James spoke about how he intended to relate with his son, Bronny, on the basketball pitch. He stated, among other things, that the youngster could only call him “dad” after a game.
LeBron’s comment was for observers who wondered how the father-son relationship might be as the basketball season approaches.
“[He] cannot call me dad in the workplace…Once we leave the private facility and the gates close, I could be a dad again [and] in the car if we ride together, at home I could be a dad.
“He got to call me like ‘2-3’ or ‘Bron’ or, you know, ‘GOAT’ if he wants to. It’s up to him,” LeBron was quoted in excerpts of an upcoming interaction with sports outlet, ESPN.”
The NBA superstar insisted that he will keep things professional on the pitch between him and his son Bronny.
