After a five-month investigation, Toronto rapper Lady SB, also known as Sabrina Leite-Moniz, is facing serious charges for her alleged involvement in a human trafficking operation.

The Halton Regional Police announced that Lady SB, along with four other individuals, has been implicated in a ring that reportedly victimized multiple individuals over a five-year period, spanning from September 2019 to September 2024.

Among the accused is fellow Toronto rapper Casino Barnes, whose real name is Prince Munroe, along with his brother Jamie Munroe. The Munroe brothers, along with Leite-Moniz, face a series of charges, including trafficking in persons, knowingly advertising sexual services, and assault. Two other individuals, Jonathan Bennett and Shuwayne Mitchell, have also been charged with procuring or exercising control over victims.

During the arrests, police seized a significant amount of cash, a loaded firearm, a prohibited magazine, a vehicle, and various documents identifying victims involved in the case. Investigators are continuing to gather evidence as the case unfolds.

Lady SB, who gained some notoriety in Toronto’s music scene, was previously interviewed on the No Jumper podcast in 2023, where she discussed her lifestyle. Though she avoided directly addressing her sources of income, she hinted at involvement in illegal activities, raising questions about her financial dealings. She had also been arrested on gun-related charges in the past.
