Despite not being able to hold his marriage to actress Jada Pinkett Smith together, the African-American actor, rapper, and entrepreneur, Will Smith, has done well for himself as a businessman.
The I, Robot star has invested in various industries in the United States, owning businesses and running them well. This is one side of Will Smith that most people know nothing about because his marriage to Jada is always in public, overshadowing the other good things that he does.
He has made approximately $4 billion from movies he has starred in.
Afrobeats+ has put together five of Will Smith’s businesses that people do not know about:
BioBeat Medical
In 2013, Will Smith invested $650,000 in the BioBeats media company, along with five other investors. BioBeats develops programs that combine clinical medicine, consumer wellness, and health and entertainment.
Stance
In 2011, the Wild Wild West movie star invested $6 million in Stance, a renowned American sock, underwear, and T-shirt brand headquartered in San Clemente, California. Stance boasts superior materials and exceptional fit in its sock production.
Westbrook Inc
Founded in 2019, Westbrook Inc. is a multimedia and entertainment venture company based in Calabasas, California. It was established by actor Smith and his wife, actress Jada Pinkett Smith, to oversee the global content endeavors of the Smith family. In January 2022, Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith divested a minority stake in the company to Mayer and Staggs.
However, Will Smith is noted to be a lover of luxurious cars and has invested in several high-profile cars, including a Bentley Azure, a Mayback 57s, a 1965 Ford Mustang, a Cadillac Escalade, and a Mercedes Benz GL450.
Perhaps one day, Will Smith and Jada will find peace in their marriage and keep their marital issues away from the public.
Treyball Development Inc
The Bad Boys movie star and his brother Harry own Treyball Development Inc., a residential real estate developer.
Telepool
In 2022, Westbrook Inc., jointly owned by Smith and his wife, acquired full ownership of the German film and television producer Telepool, including a 50 percent stake formerly held by the Swiss investment firm Elysian Invest.
