Bronx rapper Ice Spice has responded to recent speculation surrounding her apparent weight loss, making it clear that she’s had enough of the chatter.

Over the past few weeks, fans and critics alike have noticed a slimmer figure in the rising star, leading to rumors that she might be using the controversial weight loss drug Ozempic.

But in a candid discussion on X Spaces, Ice Spice set the record straight in her unfiltered way.

Ice Spice doesn’t know Ozempic

The rapper, known for her unapologetic attitude, did not hold back as she addressed those spreading misinformation about her body.

“I wish y’all never learned the word Ozempic. That’s one thing I wish. Oh my God, like, what even is Ozempic? What the f— is that? Genuinely, what is that?”

Ice Spice expressed frustration with the obsession over her appearance, pointing out that hard work and a demanding lifestyle are the real reasons behind her change in physique.

The Bronx native, busy with a grueling tour schedule, emphasized that maintaining her health has always been a priority. She dismissed the notion that her transformation was due to any weight loss drug, instead attributing it to her rigorous routine and dedication to a healthy lifestyle.

Interestingly, fellow rapper Sexyy Red also recently came to Ice Spice’s defense when the weight loss rumors began circulating. She pointed out that stress and a busy lifestyle could influence her friend’s slimmer appearance, and reassured fans that Ice Spice still looks great.

50 Cent rubbishes Ozempic rumours

Similarly, 50 Cent has rubbished rumors that sought to imply that he is using a prescription for a weight loss program. He reportedly lost over 40 lbs recently and has credited it to working out.

In 2022, the 21 Questions hitmaker hit the Super Bowl Halftime Show with the performance of a lifetime while recreating his iconic music video for In da Club from over 20 years ago, in which he was captured working out in various scenes.

Soon after the historic outing in Los Angeles, 50 was fat-shamed, and his performance quickly became a meme.
