Beyoncé Scores Big With 17 Nominations At People’s Choice Country Music Awards

Beyoncé has earned an impressive 17 nominations at the upcoming People’s Choice Country Music Awards.

According to Billboard, the pop and R&B icon is just two nods shy of leading nominee Zach Bryan, solidifying her status as a powerful force in the music industry.

Beyoncé’s groundbreaking album Cowboy Carter has been a game-changer, bridging genres and bringing her signature flair to the country music scene. The album’s first two singles, 16 Carriages and Texas Hold ‘Em, have both been nominated for The Female Song of 2024.

In addition to these nominations, Beyoncé received two nods in the Cover Song of 2024 category for her stunning renditions of Dolly Parton’s Jolene and The Beatles’ Blackbird. The latter features rising country stars Brittney Spencer, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, and Tiera Kennedy.

Beyoncé’s influence does not stop there. She’s also up for The People’s Artist of 2024, The Social Country Star of 2024, The Album of 2024, The Song of 2024 (Texas Hold ‘Em), The Collaboration Song of 2024 (Blackbird), The Crossover Song of 2024 (II Most Wanted, her duet with Miley Cyrus), and The Storyteller Song of 2024 (16 Carriages).

Meanwhile, Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, recently opened up about her superstar daughter’s childhood experiences with bullying and the moments that shaped her character.

Tina recalled that Beyoncé was a shy child who faced bullying. Despite her struggles, a defining moment came when young Beyoncé stood up for a classmate who was being mistreated.

This act of courage left Tina deeply moved and immensely proud of her daughter, highlighting Beyoncé’s early empathy and bravery.
