Actress Halle Berry is in the news again. This time, it is a legal tussle with his ex-husband, Oliver Martinez.
She is seeking “sole custody” of her 10-year-old son because she thinks the father “is turning the boy against her.”
The decorated star has been in a custody battle with the boy’s father since their divorce in 2015. They both share “physical and legal rights” with the child nonetheless.
Recent reports, however, suggest that Berry believes the boy’s father was “failing to prioritize his education and overall wellness.”
The 58-year-old claims that her ex-husband’s behavior was hurting their son.

Berry is quoted saying that Martinez was more concerned about soccer training instead of “educational and therapy” needs for their son.
She alleges that her husband involves their child in their legal matters by telling a one-sided version of events, which has led to her son exhibiting “combative and angry” behavior.
According to sources, Berry is convinced that “the only way to put their son on the right track is for her to have 100% control” of the child’s upbringing.
Reports suggest she had previously tried to resolve the matter in private but decided to go public by filing “lengthy and detailed” court documents recently.
The actress had previously called Martinez out for failing to honor their co-parenting agreement.
Early this month, she claimed that her ex-husband “ignored” their co-parenting therapy to “focus on summer.”
