A close relative of Olympic gymnast Simon Biles has revealed that rapper Snoop Dogg gave the athlete’s father a Death Row Records chain as a 75th birthday present.

Adria Biles, sister of Simon Biles, recently, in an Instagram post, shared a photo of her father wearing the chain, along with the caption: “Snoop gave him a chain, and now he doesn’t know how to act.”

The hip-hop legend who featured prominently at this year’s Olympics, has been friendly with Biles who has won three gold medals and one silver at the event. Biles and Snoop linked up on August 9 to watch one of the track events.

Snoop took over the iconic Death Row Records label in 2022 and vowed to “restore the label to its former glory, championing artists, hip-hop, and cannabis culture.”.

According to accounts, he recently fulfilled part of the mission by opening his first marijuana dispensary in Los Angeles, which will stock the Death Row Records Cannabis brand he launched in January 2023.

Snoop was the final torchbearer when he marched down the streets of Saint-Denis to the Stade de France stadium. He also was seen swimming with esteemed Olympic gold medallist Michael Phelps.

In a video, the Long Beach rapper compared physiques with the legendary swimmer and then tried to learn the correct pool technique from him.

Weeks ago, the Hip-hop star opened up about his many years of friendship with music producer Dr. Dre, whom he describes as “a big brother.”.

The longtime collaborators spoke about their 30-year relationship in an interview, in which Snoop said they both established a strong bond decades ago while doing business together.

Dr. Dre has always been a big brother, a mentor. But he taught me professionalism as far as how to separate from the hood, how to get on a business venture, and how to just look forward and not pay attention to what’s behind you,” the Talkin Loud composer told Capital XTRA radio.
