Rihanna might soon gift us with some brand-new music, so get your playlists ready.

The Diamonds hitmaker has been discreetly planning a music comeback after a busy year that included a historic Super Bowl halftime concert, an epic surprise pregnancy announcement, an emotional Oscars performance, and a fashionably late Met Gala appearance.

A source claims that the artiste has teamed up with Live Nation and is planning to release a new album as early as next year.

The publication further stated that a comeback tour for the pop star is scheduled for 2024–2025.

A new contract with Live Nation that could be worth up to $39 million – including the tour.

The Grammy Awardee’s creative team is secretly putting the world tour together in Los Angeles as she raises her family as part of the bargain that was made to make it possible. When the Umbrella singer is prepared to return to work, she will start the live performance and release two albums’ worth of music.

Rihanna hasn’t addressed the rumors directly.

Since the 2016 release of Rihanna’s most recent album, Anti, it has been almost eight years. In 2022, she released her song, Lift Me Up on the soundtrack for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Since then, the 35-year-old has naturally had her hands full caring for her two children, Riot Rose Mayers and RZA Athelston Mayers, who were born in 2023 and May 20 this year, respectively.

According to a source who spoke to People, the Billboard Music Award winner and her lover, A$AP Rocky, are devoted parents, and the singer is “the happiest she has ever been.”

Along with being a mother, Rihanna has been extremely active in recent years, establishing her brands, Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty, as leaders in the lingerie and beauty industries.

RiRi stated that she planned to bless fans with new music this year in a February interview with British Vogue. At the time, she stated, “I want it to be this year. It would be absurd if it weren’t this year, to be honest. But all I want is to enjoy myself. All I want to do is create music and videos.”
