After Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles bowed to Brazil’s Rebecca Andrade on the floor final podium, Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey took an angry swipe at them.

Biles concluded the 2024 Olympics with four medals, three of which were gold, bringing her total to eleven.

She also gave Rebecca Andrade her flowers for raising the bar in gymnastics during the Olympics.

“I’ve never had an athlete this close. This absolutely helped me stay focused and unleash my inner athlete. I’m thrilled and honored to face her in competition. Never before have I felt so anxious. Thank you, Rebecca,” Biles remarked of her encounter with the Brazilian.

Humphrey, 28, expressed his thoughts on Team USA gymnasts Simone and her teammates on X on Monday, shortly after the results were announced.

Rebecca Andrade had just won her first gold medal of the summer. Chiles and Biles placed second and third in the competition, respectively.

Humphrey commented, “This is absolutely disgusting,” above a SportsCenter post that showed Biles and Chiles showing Andrade their love.

Just after his comments, fans of Simone and Jordan descended on him, replying to his tweet. Here is what some of them wrote:

‘Yeah, because giving someone their flowers who has come back from THREE ACL tears to continue to be a top gymnast is disgusting,’ a user on X shared as a reply to Humphrey’s post.

Another Olympic viewer echoed: ‘God forbid athletes show respect to a fellow athlete who has suffered a torn ACL multiple times.’

Another user said to Humphrey, telling him to ‘get to a final and win something. Then you can talk.’

‘This is literally beautiful,’ a user pointed out in contrast to Humphery’s reaction.

The three-time Pro Bowler later said that he felt the wrath of Brazil fans on social media, although he seemed to have forgotten that they speak Portuguese in the South American country.

‘I’m lowkey getting cooked right now. I think I’m getting cussed out in Brazilian on Instagram, lol,’ Humphrey shared in a separate post.
