Reason Behind The Dismissal Of The Black Family From Burger King

BY Dora Abena Dzaka July 19, 2024 10:26 PM EDT

A former manager of a Burger King in Mississippi claims that she was fired from the fast-food company along with her son and three of his friends due to nepotism.

The boys claimed that because there was so much violence in the region, their occupations served as a haven. Therefore their recent layoffs have them furious.

The boy’s mother, Shakayla Dixon, held the position of a branch manager. Given that she was assisting the four adolescents in earning additional money for the summer, she stated that she believed it would be wise to hire them.

Dixon claims that she posted a picture of them working on social media because she was so happy about the hire.

“The post began to receive hits. That evening, it had close to 1,000 likes, the woman remarked.

Actor Nick Cannon was also drawn to the picture and posted it on Instagram and also more than 90,000 people were drawn to the picture and posted it on Instagram.

Dixon claimed that all was OK up until she got a call from her district Burger King executive stating conflict of interest.

Corderrion acknowledges that it hurts to lose his summer employment.

He stated that he has always aimed to serve as a good example for his generation and demonstrate that it is acceptable to put in a lot of effort and produce results.

“I hope that it encourages a lot of people to do good things and stop the violence,” he said.

After losing their jobs, Dixon set up a GoFundMe page to assist her kid and his pals with their future educational costs.
