“Captain America: Brave New World”: Anthony Mackie Steps Up As Captain America In First Teaser

Captain America: Brave New World, a film from Marvel Studios, will debut in American theaters on February 14, 2025

Marvel has also unveiled a new poster for the film, which hints at the Red Hulk’s major role in the narrative by featuring a gigantic red hand.

In the first teaser for Captain America: Brave New World, the fourth film in the Captain America series and the first after Chris Evans said goodbye to the heroic life in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

In the latest trailer, Sam Wilson, a character played by Anthony Mackie, is enlisted by the recently elected U.S. President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt”.

A character played by Harrison Ford, who replaced William Hurt in this Marvel Cinematic Universe debut to formally assume the Captain role and also become an agent of the United States

Before long, the captain foils an attempted assassination in the White House. After that, things start to get busy. 

The blazingly fast animation ends with a real roar and a brief glimpse of Red Hulk, the new superhero, hurling Captain America’s shield to the ground like a plaything.

Consider Harrison Ford turning into an enormous, crimson monster weighing a thousand pounds.

Although it’s unclear from the teaser, Thunderbolt Ross’s alter ego is Red Hulk in the comics.

In the 2021 Disney+ series finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Mackie’s The Falcon formally assumed the role of Captain America.

Along with Mackie and Ford, the cast of Captain America: Brave New World includes Giancarlo Esposito, Tim Blake Nelson, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, and Xosha Roquemore.

Kevin Feige and Nate Moore are the producers, and Julius Onah is the director. Executive producers include Charles Newirth and Louis D’Esposito.
