Country singer, Morgan Wallen’s new single Lies Lies Lies will be ready this Friday. This comes after his recent duet with Post Malone I Had Some Help continues to lead music charts.
Details of the upcoming project are scanty but fans will be looking forward to what he has under his sleeves.
His collaboration with Post Malone is currently ranked the No.1 song in America for its sixth week, making it this year’s longest-running chart-topper, according to sources.
Last year, Morgan released Last Night, which also performed remarkably on charts in the United States and beyond.
Morgan Wallen is currently on his One Night at A Time tour, scheduled to end on August 8, 2024.
A member of the audience reportedly threw an iPhone at him last week while he was playing a show at Denver’s Mile High Stadium.
The “missile”, according to sources, tapped his arm and landed at his feet and he swiftly picked it up, tossed the phone side-stage, and carried on singing.
He joins the leagues of performers like Bebe Rexha, who had to get stitches around her eye when she was “attacked” at a show in a similar fashion.
In April, Morgan Wallen issued an apology for his misconduct reported at a bar in Nashville, Tennessee. He took “responsibility for his actions”, saying he would not want to hurt any police officer.
This was after the Everything I Love singer was arrested for reportedly throwing a chair from a rooftop bar, six stories above street level. Reports indicate he was charged with three felony counts of “reckless endangerment as well as disorderly conduct.”
Details of the arrest mentioned that a group of police officers were standing on Broadway outside Chief’s Bar in Nashville, a new establishment owned by Wallen’s friend and fellow country star Eric Church when a chair landed near them.
Members of staff at the bar told police officers that Wallen had thrown the chair, and the police later were able to view video of the singer “lunging and throwing an object over the roof.”
