Ms. Lauryn Hill and The Fugees will embark on another joint tour. The 21-date tour will play primarily in the United States before concluding with four gigs abroad.
In honor of the 25th anniversary of the Billboard 200 No. 1 album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, the eight-time Grammy winner and The Fugees will reunite for a tour that begins on August 9 in Tampa, Florida at the Midflorida Credit Union Ampitheatre and travels around the states.
It closes in Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on October 22. As the supporting act for The Fugees‘ No. 1 album The Score, Hill’s son YG Marley, whom she shares with Rohan Marley, will also be included on the co-headlining tour.
$2 from every ticket purchased will go toward the MLH fund, which supports groups that offer services for women’s well-being, education, small business growth, mental health challenges, and more, according to the news release.
Because of Hill’s voice problems, the Miseducation Anniversary Tour was earlier postponed in November.
