Rap Star, Kendrick Lamar, is planning an afternoon concert in Los Angeles, US, set to happen in two weeks. The show will take place at the Kia Forum in Inglewood on June 19, 2024.

The show is tagged “The Pop Out — Ken & Friends.” Tickets will start selling on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Doors to the programme will open much earlier at 3 PM on the scheduled date.

It is happening weeks after his highly publicised feud with Drake which saw the release of the chart-topping single Not Like Us. Some fans have described the concert as a victory concert.

It is unknown who the “friends” are about the concert but observers say the rapper certainly has “some fun surprises in store”.

The feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake had been described by some followers as the “greatest rap battle of all time. Dame Dash, Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder, recently declared Kendrick Lamar as the winner of the rivalry contest.

According to him, Kendrick has not “only won the feud but also disrupted Drake’s life,” pointing out that the industry seems to be tired of Drake, with many turning against him. Dash expressed surprise at the number of people who have issues with Drake.

Dash compared the Kendrick-Drake feud with other historical rap battles, such as 2Pac vs. Biggie, Ice Cube vs. N.W.A, and even the feud between his former business partner JAY-Z and Nas, and declared the Kendrick-Drake feud the most “impactful battle.”

Rapper Snoop Dog, also hailed the feud, acknowledging “the increased quality of writing in the industry since the grudge began. He believed both rappers had pushed each other to “elevate their craft,” referring to them affectionately as his “nephews” though he did not pick sides on the “arguments.”
