Artificial intelligence (AI) is taking over the field of arts and entertainment and doing so at a rather fast pace. Some artists are using the technology to create their works, while others are using it to impersonate famous people.

Drake recently utilized 2Pac’s voice during his feud with Kendrick Lamar, enraging the latter’s estate enraged and even threatening to sue Drake.

A few days ago, another celebrity discovered that she was being utilized against her will.

The gorgeous Viola Davis and her natural hair were featured in a hair advertisement that Dami Oloyede, a social media user, spotted.

But Oloyede noticed something wasn’t right when the advertisement switched!

“That is not Viola Davis!” she said, posting a video of herself in front of the advertisement.

The AI-generated woman in the advertisement flaunted the growth of her own hair and asserted that the phony Viola Davis was able to perceive this growth because of the hair product from the advertisement.

Next, she continued to say. “Viola Davis! Grab your PR team and let them go fire these people! Put an end to the business! That is not acceptable.

A real interview featuring Davis discussing her natural hair was exploited by the hair brand in question.

Then, the EGOT reposted Oloyede’s rant with the following caption:

Yes, I have observed this! Definitely not me.

Still, I’m curious about what she’s using! Auntie Viola disapproved of this advertisement. And don’t worry, my team is on it!

She then jokingly mentioned Annalise Keating, her Sandal legal character, and said, “Yes! Annalise Keating, make sure these people are not cleared of murder!”

In response to the AI ad, Viola posted her most popular and widely shared GIF of the character packing her bag and walking away.
