50 Cent Congratulates Eminem On ‘Grandfather’ Status

Curtis James Jackson III, aka 50 Cent, has congratulated his longtime friend, Eminem, who recently became a grandfather after his only daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, welcomed her first child.

In a post on X, the Candy Shop rapper wrote: “Congratulations…This is the best WOW,” while sharing a screenshot of the post which announced the arrival of the child.

The original post by Haile Jade Scott featured the baby wearing a light blue hooded sweater as he posed in front of a sign that read, “Elliot Marshall McClintock 03.14.25.”

Hailie, 29, Eminem’s only biological child, made the announcement on Instagram, Friday, with the caption: “happy due date…3 weeks earthside little e”.

Eminem first shared the news that he was to become a grandfather in the video for his song Temporary in October, which was dedicated to his daughter and included audio of her as a baby.

The video included an emotional montage of moments throughout their lives, including when Hailie presented the Mockingbird composer with a blue jumper with “Grandpa 1” on the back.

Hailie later confirmed her pregnancy with her husband Evan McClintock in an Instagram post, which read: “Mom & Dad est. 2025.” The couple, who had been dating since 2016, married in May 2024.

In January this year, Hailie showcased her growing baby bump in a series of touching photos.

Hailie had previously revealed on her Just a Little Shady podcast that the baby would be a boy but did not disclose her due date at the time.

Early this year, 50 Cent and his long-time antagonist, DJ Khaled, reportedly settled their difference after they both attended a public event in Florida.

Both artistes, sources said, were spotted at Reggie Jackson’s Mr. October Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Judging from a video shared to Instagram, fans believed the hip-hop stars ended their long-held beef. The event was sponsored by 50 Cent’s Sire Spirits brand.

The video posted on social media on January 15 shows 50 Cent meeting various guests, including Dj Khaled, who was quoted saying, “Nothing but love and respect,” as they both hugged and grabbed each other’s hands.
