Since his ascent into the music industry, Drake, the most popular crossover artiste in hip-hop, has contributed to the development of an emotionally mature style of rap.

Born Aubrey Drake Graham in 1986 in Toronto, Drake has gone on to participate in numerous musical partnerships over the course of his career.

Whether it is fully embracing his sensitive side as a singer on songs like Replacement Girl with Trey Songz or his rap bona fides on songs like Life Is Good with Future, Drake has proven over time that two heads can really be better than one.

Back in his early career years, he topped MySpace as the number-one unsigned artist in Canada

Drake has worked with a lot of musicians during the course of his career. For the purposes of this list, however, we have concentrated on five artistes who have not been affected by “The Drake Curse,” a phenomenon that occurred during his 2019 tour of the United Kingdom and Europe and resulted in meetings with players from some of the continent’s biggest clubs.

According to this phenomenon, football teams and individuals experience bad luck after any association with the God’s Plan hitmaker. The multiple award-winning entertainer has rubbished this “curse” and has illustrated how his involvement in a project may advance artistes’ careers and turn songs into global sensations

BlocBoy JB – Look Alive

Drake and BlocBoy JB’s breakthrough single, Look Alive, made the Memphis rapper more known. The song ultimately reached No. 11 on Billboard’s US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, demonstrating that working with Drake can change the game for up-and-coming artistes.

Yung Bleu – You’re Mines Still (feat. Drake)

The influence Drake had on Yung Bleu’s song You’re Mines Still cannot be overemphasized. The song’s theme was brilliantly complemented by the artiste’s signature flow and emotional depth, which helped it become well-known. It significantly increased Yung Bleu’s recognition and standing in the music business.

Kayla and WizKid – One Dance

The rapper’s remix of the 2009 single Do You Mind by UK singer Kyla into his song One Dance led to the song being a smash hit worldwide. The action demonstrated Drake’s talent for giving vintage songs from many genres fresh life while bringing them to a wider audience.

Migos – Versace

Drake’s appearance on the song’s remix gave Migos the exposure they required to become popular with a wider audience. The viral success of Versace marked a turning point in the career of Migos and put them on the path to becoming one of the most significant rap groups in the business.

Giveon – Chicago Freestyle

Giveon’s career has been significantly impacted by Drake. The song Chicago Freestyle from his Dark Lane Demo Tapes collection featured the singer and introduced the up-and-coming Giveon to a huge global audience.
