The 2024 Billboard Music Awards is set to air on Thursday, December 12, at 8:00 pm ET/PT on Fox and Fire TV Channels and on-demand on Paramount+.
The awards show’s performances will also roll out across Billboard.com and via BBMAs and Billboard social channels.
This year is almost over with the holiday season in full effect; one may think the year’s entertainment calendar may have ended, but one of music’s biggest nights, the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, is just a few days away.
As the nominees for the 2024 Billboard Music Awards has been made public, and as usual, Afrobeats is taking the spotlight.
Tems is on the list for Top Afrobeats Song with her track Me & U. Tyla joins her with three entries in the same category with Water, Truth or Dare, and Jump, featuring Gunna and Skillibeng.

The list shows that Asake, Burna Boy, Rema, Tems, and Tyla are all competing for Top Afrobeats Artist.
However, the South African artist is not only dominating the Afrobeats categories but is set to also perform at the awards ceremony.
The 2024 Billboard Music Awards is going to be a fun-packed night with over 70 categories.
